Rare 1920s Moritz Pappe \'Baby Bear\' Teddy bear. 16\" tall.This sweet looking baby bear cub was made by Moritz pappe in the 1920\'s and is rare
and sought after teddy. Baby bear measures approximately 16\" tall (39cm) and is five ways
jointed and stuffed with a mix of kapok & wood wool. He is in generally good condition
with a very good coverage of his soft blonde mohair with just a little overall thinning and a
bald patch on his left arm, probably from when he was loved and carried around
by his previous young owner.All of his original features are intact including his amber and black glass eyes, black nose
stitching and red felt tongue. His pads are rexine and he has four claw stitches on each paw,
three of which have come loose. There are splits on both of his foot pads which could do with
a little sympathetic restoration but he is otherwise undamaged and in good original condition.
He is a very sweet looking bear and would make a fabulous addition to any hug!Please view the photos, which can be enlarged, to assess Baby Bears condition
