Rare 1940s Knickerbocker Bozo the Capitol Clown. Excellent condition for its age. No tears or rips. Does have some staining around the feet and hands of the doll but this is very common with any cloth material doll. This one is the Rarer of the Bozo family of dolls. The costume is Red and not the common Blue found in the later dolls. Secondly it says Bozo the Capitol Clown not the Larry Harmon Pictures Corporation. Lastly he is from the late 1940s. I just love this Bozo. He has Nostalgia written all over him. Sweet Vintage doll . Would make a great centerpiece to any Bozo collection. Please see photos for better description.
