Amazing wood work on the front of this speaker that you just don\'t see anymore. The fabric in the back is loose on the bottom and sides a little so I was able to pull it back to get the pictures of the inside. The Cone looked completely fine from the backside and the fabric on the front of the speaker is still pretty much all attached except on the right a bit. I left this original as it has been but a light coat of oil would really bring this back to life. The cabinet has scratches / aging in the finish on top and other places as pictured. The cords are extremely aged and look original- they would need to be replaced if you planned to use this. I have not even thought about plugging something this old in to see how it works (I am not the guy for that-you are) This cabinet looks like it would be extremely easy to restore- there are four long rods that come up from the base to the top of the cabinet to hold the Base / cabinet and speaker in place.
Radiomuseum.org has this as a 1929/1930 model but there is an advertisement for sale on that reads 1928?
