Description:
This jacket was hand painted by John Goodwin (Nytom-Hisadult Native American name) of the Northwestern Makah Tribe. The jacket is a base black, has two sideentry pockets with zippers, and a black quilted lining. There is notably no closure on the front ofthe jacket.
The design on the shirt features Makah Tribe totems on thefront, and across the back of the jacket. The jacket was hand signed by Nytom to validate the work (You can seewhere his pen skipped when signing the piece). There is no tag inside of the jacket, but as previously stated it issigned.
The jacket is in very good condition, and an interesting piece. It is a nice example of Northwestern NativeAmerican art, and culture. This is arare piece, and the only one I have ever personally had. Once this is gone, it really will begone. If you have any further questionsabout the jacket please feel free to send me a message and I will happilyanswer all inquiries. Thank you.
