This sale isfor a really nice manually operated Hague Linking Machine. These machines are used to join seams of hand and machine knitted garments such as sleeves, side seams, collars, bands, etc. They can also be used for decorative linking and joining piecework. This machine is not electric.
You just thread the needle, place the knitted pieces together onto the circular point ring (which rotates as the handle is turned) and the seams are linked (sewed) together. Yes, really, it is as simple as that! Why spend hours sewing seams together by hand? Now they can be professionally linked in a fraction of the time! With the Hague Manual Linker, making up is a real pleasure and you can achieve that truly professional finish, too. It\'s quick and simple to use, you\'ll save hours of tedious hand sewing.
Be sure to check out our photos of Carol joining a sleeve on a sweater.
Here are some of the features that the Hague Linker includes:
Circularaction links perfectly without any joins. Seams are so neat that you can hardly see them.
The Linker works on all thicknesses, types and textures of knitting. You can often use the same yarn as the garment for perfect seams that will wear and stretch with it. Heavy thread may be used to seam bulky garments and squares.
The Hague Linker will link up a whole neckline and join front and bottom bands of any length. It even matches patterns perfectly stitch for stitch once pieces are properly hung.
You can produce exciting surface patterning with cords, braids, sequins, beads and ribbons.
It can put lovely pin tucks at your fingertips.
The Hague Linker is made in Britain by a company that has supplied the quality knitwear trade for over 100 years. This experience has culminated in a linker designed especially forhome use to give your items a truly professional finish.
Robust construction ensures stability. a sturdymetal point ring with rigid points angled upwards prevents your work from falling off during joining.
