This is another fine product of CGH Scale Lumber Co. of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Made of quality native materials and hand crafted in the Deep South of the United States. This is a set of 30+ (thirty + 2-3 extra)genuine Southern Yellow Pine Logs cut to HO scale for use with your KADEE, Bacchman, or Rivarossi log cars, logging cars, flat cars, Log cranes, gantry cranes, etc. Also perfect for detailing your Sawmill or Lumber Company industries along your track. Look great sitting in piles around your mill or in you log pond, etc. These are approximately 4.0\" long. All measure in diameter from 1/8\" to 3/8\" in diameter to simulate a full range of sizes and tree types from Southern Yellow Pine, to Spruce and Fir, up to Redwood (approximate scale size from 20\"--48\" bole diameter at the butt (stump) cut). They are cut in mind to fit KADEE truss rod log cars or skeleton log cars, or disconnect truck cars. Theyare thesamesize as the plastic logs that KADEE sells, and are intended to be a scale 32\' in length. These are REAL WOOD and the ends are carefully shaped to scale in order to simulate crosscut saw cuts, and directional and felling cuts of scal size. They are kiln dried and lightly sanded to remove loose bark and expose the natural pattern of the inner bark, which simulates the bark pattern of a full size tree. You can Spray them with a flatclear coat (if you choose) and they take on a reddish tone like Redwood trees. The ones shown have not been sprayed. These are made in the UNITED STATES, not China. My two crew members eating lunch onthe log pile are also not for sale.
