Cool, antique stove door salvaged from NortheasternPennsylvania. The piece was salvaged from an old, wood stove. Both doorand surround (frame) are made of solid, heavy, thick, cast iron. The 2pins that hold the door onto the frame are included.

The frame sat in water for a long time, but the door didnot. As a result, the frame is heavily pitted (corroded) and the bottomportion broke off.

At the point of salvage, the door was covered underlayers of paint (see last photo). Since then, we removed the paint andcleaned and polished the door to the best of our ability. Now, the \"lndianBrand\" text and logo are clearly visible, and the door looks and feelslike it when it was first made.

Since the frame is so corroded and is not whole, wedidn\'t clean it because we\'re not sure if you even want it. If you wouldlike it cleaned, steel wool and detergent won\'t cut it. You\'ll need adrill and wire brush to smooth out the rough surface of the frame.

The door will make a fine addition to any collection, andit\'s ideal for decor or replacing your old, worn out stove door.
