studio11chicago.com says:First manufactured in the year of 1989, the Roland GP-16 is considered by many to be the first digital multi effects processor for guitars on the market.Even though it is now 25 years old, it is still preferred over many newer digital multi effects guitar processors for its efficiency, durability, ease of use, and overwhelmingly, its sound.
I say:I use my GP16 for modulation effects ...this is like having all 80\'s Boss modulation boxes in one unit. Very cool indeed. Distortions not to my taste though.
This particular unit is in very good condition considering the age; minimal surface wear and rack rash. Inside, the foot controller connections renewed for some reason, rotary knob is fastened to the front panel (exactly where it should be) and 100% functional (they tend to get pushed in thus get useless). All in all working perfectly, fresh battery installed, factory reset. 220 Volt unit, you\'ll need a converter to use it on 110 Volt outlets.
