This is #12, The CharcoalMan, of a set of 12 Colonial Peddlers from The Franklin Mint. It depicts a man crying out

“Char-coal! Charcoal!

My horse is white, my face is black,

I sell my charcoal, two-bits a sack –

Char-coal! Char-coal!”

The sculptor is the renownedartist Ron Hinote. It comes with adescription booklet and is very beautifully detailed.

It has been on display onlyin a curio of a no-pet and non-smoking home.

It measure approximately 3¼” high, 3” wide at the base and 1 ¾” deep at the base. It weighs 344 grams.
