The The Hand Decorated (Gold Leaf Rim) Royal-Rochester Studios Heat Proof China is for Baking Purposes. The pottery is in very good condition without chips, nicks, crazing or signs of repair; although, there is some loss of gold leaf along the rim.. The silver stand is marked \"Royal-Rochester\", \"Sheffield\", \" 3730S\". The Sheffield shield is also included. The baking dish measures approx. 8\" in diameter at the rim, 5\" in diameter at the base and approx. 2 1/2\" deep. The Stand measures approx. 10\" across at the handles, 6\" in diameter at the base and holds the Baking Dish quite nicely.
