This listing is for a custom made reborn doll from the Ariella sculpt by world famous sculptor Reva Schick. She is the little sister to the twenty-eight inch Sleeping Arianna.

The pictures shown are of a baby that has already been adopted and is being loved in her new home. Yours will be made especially for you. Below is another Ariella with dark hair as well. This will give you an idea of what your baby may look like.

My name is Rita Meese and I have been reborning dolls since 2007. Together, with my husband David, we have brought over one thousand “Little Darlins” to life. These babies have been adopted to families all over the world. David and I take great pride in the work we do, and only the highest quality materials are used in our babies. Our goal is to create babies of “heirloom quality” that will bring joy for many years to come.

To achieve the most realistic skin tones I use only Genesis Heat Set Paints. I do not use pre-mixed colors, but prefer to mix my own paints for each baby so that no two are ever identical, but all have their own unique baby complexion. The paint is applied in many thin layers and baked into the vinyl so it will never fade or peel. Every baby has blushing in all their creases and dimples. Many hours are spent on each baby to get the complexion just right.

Ariella will have full limbs and a custom made, fully jointed, doe suede body. She will be stuffed and weighted in her head, body, and limbs with fiberfill and small pellets for a very realistic feel. Sand is never used in our babies so they may travel overseas with no problems. She will be so cuddly you won’t want to put her down!

Her hair will be hand rooted with high quality mohair, using an ultra-fine needle, a strand ortwo at a time inthe color and length of your choice.We thenseal it inside with waterproof glue. This process is very time consuming but worth every minute for the ultimate realism of your baby! Human hair may be available upon request.

Please read the care instructions before combing your baby’s hair.This hair is very fine mohair andshouldnever be combed dry. I recommend a baby comb and leave-in hair conditioner. Her hair is beautiful and looks like it is growing right out of her scalp! Itwill be long enough to style many ways. I recommend never combing or brushing dry hair.

Caring for my reborn doll

Ariella\'snose will be opened and backed with dark felt for a very realistic look. The eyebrows will be painted on in fine, delicate strokes. Eyelashes are hand rooted to complete her sleepy look.

She will be given a manicure and pedicure for that just clipped baby look. The nails, as well as the mouth, will be glossed and sealed. The mouth will have a slightly moist look.

Reborns made from a portrait or picture add $75.00. All our dolls come from a smoke-free home.

Yours will be made especially for you!

Ariella will come home dressed in a diaper, onesie, and socks or booties. She will also bring home two outfits of our choosing. We will ask you for yourcolor preference, but it depends on available supplies. She will be snuggled in her custom-made fleece blanket or bunting.

Additional accessories include a hairbow and magnetic pacifier (if desired). Please be aware these magnets are very strong and should not be used around pacemakers or near electronic equipment. Please let us know if you do not want one. Earrings may also be added at no additional charge.

Custom dolls require your information! After payment, we will contact you for your preferences, (hair color, eye color, etc.). If we do not hear from you we will have to make the doll at our own discretion.

Custom made dolls are made to the buyers\' specifications and are made to the highest standards. The buyer chooses many aspects of the final product, such as hair, eyes, and complexion. For this reason, Little Darlins Nursery is unable to give refunds on custom made dolls.

We do, however, stand behind our product. We are proud of our dolls, of our workmanship, and we do not ship a doll until we are satisfied. We stand behind our workmanship, the materials used, and our descriptions in the items.

If the buyer is not satisfied with the doll, please contact us with pictures highlighting the problem. If we believe this is our error, the buyer must ship the doll back to us within fourteen days upon delivery, at the buyers\' expense, with tracking numbers and delivery confirmation. We recommend purchasing postal insurance as well.

We will correct the defect to our best ability, and return the doll to you, return postage and shipping insurance paid by us.

Ready-made dolls (not custom made) are made to the highest standards. We only use new, quality materials. We strive to make a doll that will be a joy to you and last for years.

We stand behind our product. We are proud of our dolls, of our quality, and we do not ship a doll until we are satisfied. We stand behind our workmanship, the materials used, and our descriptions in the items.

If the buyer is not satisfied with the doll, please contact us with pictures highlighting the problem. Little Darlins Nursery will choose whether to repair or replace your doll. We will replace your doll or correct the defect to our best ability. Please allow up to thirty business days for repair or replacement. We will return the doll to you, return postage and insurancepaid.

Often we get requests for pictures during the reborning process. While we certainly understand that you are waiting and want to see how things are going, we must ask you to consider a couple of things.

First, we are a very busy reborning nursery. We love what we do. If we have several orders lined up, David would have to take pictures of each doll (no we don\'t have a cell phone). We have found that it truly disrupts our ability to make your doll and get it shipped in a timely manner.

Second, our goal is to provide you a wonderful experience. We believe it is important for you to see your baby when you receive it. The experience would be kind of spoiled if you see it all in parts, with no eyes or hair, no body, no clothes, etc.

Finally, our ultimate goal is for you, our cherished customer, to have the “awwww.....” moment when you first set eyes upon your new baby. That special feeling when you first hold him or her. That moment when you put your baby up on your shoulder and pat her little tooshie. That moment when you first set eyes upon her and look in awe at the fingers and toes, at the subtle veining, etc.
