This is an awesome vintage straight-blade fruit sampling knife. The length of the piece is 5.75\"long.....the blade length (cutting portion) is 4.5\". It is engraved on blade \"Razor Blade Stainless\" and indeed it is razor sharp. By the late 1940\'s, based out of Southern California, Sam Perricone Citrus Company was the largest in the state, and later in the entire country. This was in my father-in-law\'s belongings. My husband thinks it was given to him when the Perricones purchased appliances from his dad\'s appliance store in Manhattan Beach, CA.
It is encased in a beautiful celluloid with the engraving on both sides. It has not been cleaned at all. The blade is without corrosion and \"snaps\" nicely at opening and closing.
