This is an Antique New Home Treadle Sewing Machine Head.

Serial number 3911904. The machine most likely dates to the 1890\'s. It has floral decals.

This machine has been serviced and is 100% functional! It was properly cleaned and oiled. The timing was checked and it sews very well, please see the picture of the stitch. I even took the bobbin shuttle apart and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. It sewed 4 layers of denim with ease. The stitch is equal on both sides. Overall, this machine has a dark, antique appearance. The floral decals have an ornate design. The decals have some war and are slightly darker than normal. The paint has chips and wear with wrinkles on the deck. All exposed metal has a dark finish. The bobbin winder has is tested and works. The serial numbers on the body and bobbin covers match! It comes with one bobbin, the original manual and a full set of New Home attachments. The manual has loose covers. They have heavy wear. The binding is worn, but most of the pages are together. The manual covers machine maintenance and shows how to use some of the attachments. The attachments are in good condition except the underbraider cover is missing the guide. They have an 1891 patent date on the hemmer feet. The metal case has scratches and wear.

This machine needs to be treadle cabinet mounted.

The base measures 13-1/2\" x 7\". The rear pin holes are 8-1/2\" apart starting 2-3/4\" from the left. This has a heavy shipping weight, so please pay attention to the shipping charges.
