$69.50

Launched in 1635, La Couronne was the flagship of the French navy during the period when Cardinal Richelieu was First Advisor to King Louis XIII. Named as the Admiral Ship in 1639, the ship\'s fighting career was short. After a battle with a Spanish fleet in August 1639, the ship was disarmed in September.Dimensions of the actual ship were 215\' (waterline) and 260\' overall. Beam was 118\' and height was 229\'. Model dimensions are (waterline) 12.9\" and 16.6\" overall. Beam is 7.08\" and height is 13.74\".Instructions are in French with detailed illustrations. A separate sheet has instructions and part list in English. The ship is listed as new because all small components are still as packed bin plastic by Heller. The larger hull components are still attached to the sprues. When complete, the result will be an excellent representation of the grand ship that was once the head of the 17th Century French fleet.
