Aurora\'s re-capitalization of their famed knights series, which, along with their Knights in Shining Armor, adds various accoutrements such as the various shields, new detailed terrain bases, proper sized feathers, and so on, and with new box art creates another rare variety of these famous collectibles.
These different and exciting NEW knight models could in reality be termed \'NEW\', as I opened them only to view the marvelous new bases and shields, and even have the original shrink-wrap around the box yet.
Scarce, or more properly termed rare, as the original knights\' immense popularity, which resulted in the manufacture of a great many of the first, original knights, for which sellers are still getting big bucks for, lessened the demand for these \'re-issues\', even though the Camelot knights series was a new and novel approach to attract sales to die-hard builders and collectors.I find none on nor even from \'Old Model kits\' - must be scarce!?!
Word has it that Aurora\'s \'monster\' kits - Frankenstein, Wolfman, Dracula, etc., were so popular that MILLIONS were produced, but sellers are raking in big bucks for those \'not really as rare as price would suggest\' kits.
