Cotton rug binding to finish it off on the back once you have it hookedThe only other items you will need are a hook and a frame to keep your pattern taut. I started off with a quilting hoop and did several rugs on that before spending more money and getting a floor frame. As for the hook I have always used the solid maple Moshimer that I have listed for $14.00 but if you choose the option to buy this kit with the hook the price is reduced to just $9.00. This kit when completed measures 11 X 16 inches and would make a great wall hanging, pillow top or table top centerpiece. The pennies are hooked from the outside in with some beautiful hand and mill dyed wool colors and the background is done in deep navy and eggplant. For a finishing touch I added 2 rows of over dyed charcoal around the outer edge of the finished piece.
