Horizontal angles can be read clockwise or counterclockwise. Job functions are easily performed using only four keys: illumination on/off, “0” set, angle measurement mode selection, and angle hold/release. Other features include an optical plummet, a self-checking microprocessor to monitor angle readings, and percentage of slope or vertical angle display at the touch of a button.
