Original South African Mk II Steel Helmet. Desert tan finish with green netting. Helm has three (3) holes on rear rim, edging meets on side, open chin strap brackets (claw opening) Chin strap brackets have split rivet mounts. Liner has felt top bumper and round felt bumpers around rim. Liner is marked with \"U\" with Arrow inside, which stands for Union of South Africa, Jaeger Rand and dated 1942, size is 7 1/2. Chin strap is sound, spring still strong. Liner is complete but stiff, \"cracks\" when trying to open. Comes with WW II dated Australian first aid Field Dressing. Great example! Myers...Semper fi!
