Speakeasy Vintage Tube Pre-Amp:
$499.00

Steve Hayes from Dover PA custom built these Preamps until his death in 2014. Basically this device works with any synth giving it a great warm overdriven sound on any preset. It is however made to work simultaneously with and control Leslie Tone Cabinets. This particuliar model has connections and adapters for Leslie models T-122 and 147 PA Classic. There is a built-in switch to turn the cabinets on and off and the speakers are driven by the input from the Preamp. The Preamp has basic tone controls and volume and overall Gain control on the left side of the Preamp. You get that Vintage sound regardless of using it as just a synth Preanp or that along with real leslie cabinets. This is a unique design and it is a shame they are not being made any more due to Steve\'s death. Now you have the chance to own one that has been barely used and is in new condition with all the proper cables for connecting Leslie cabinets mentioned above. Sold complete as it sets with no returns. Adapter cables are atttached on either side for the two types of Leslies this unit supports and there is one long Leslie Cable to hook up to a remotely located Leslie. This unit does not have the footswitches to control the rotor speed of the Leslie\'s just the on and off. This is a Clone Unit and meant to be used with synths that simulate vintage Hammond Tone Wheel Operation and usually have their own speed controls built into the Synth unit to operate the Leslies. Please make sure your synth will accommodate this unit as a preamp. No returns. This is a reprint from Steve\'s old website on the basic on choosing the Speakeasy Vintage Music Vintage TubePreamp.
