Speedy Hogarth leather possibles hunter day bag Mike Small primer horn and acc.:
$325.00

Offered is a leather possibles/Hunter day bag made by Speedy Hogarth. It was purchased new at the Dixon\'s Muzzleloader Fair in 2002. It was used once in a club Black Powder shoot. The rest of the time it hung on a wall as a display piece. Since I no longer hunt or have need of it as a wall hanger I thought someone who is a Black Powder shooter or reenactor would love to have it. The reddish color stain has faded to a nice patina. It has a small pouch on one side of the strap, and a loop for the primer horn on the other. It is a double bag type design as you can see in the photos. There is an internal leather pocket with button closure and leather holders for accessories. Decorative fringe adorns the sides of the bag. In photo 10 you can see the button Speedy had given me to add to the bag where I wanted to. I had never done that, and the new owner can add that where they see fit. I am including with it the .50 cal loading block, two wallets made by Speedy Hogarth, a bullet starter with horn head and leather holder, and a hank of linen thread to use for any purpose necessary, like making a lanyard. It also comes with a custom primer horn ( not to be used to hold black powder or any other material) made by Mike Small. There is a crack in the powder horn due to shrinkage, and it has been repaired. You can see it in photo 6. There is a hand woven lanyard with a horn piece at the end for hanging from the bag strap ring. Speedy Hogarth and Mike Small are two of the most highly regarded makers of goods for the reenactors and black powder shooter/hunter. There are no returns with these items. Please, No buyers with less than 5 responses. No international shipping. I have done my best to represent them in the photos. Look over them carefully, and please ask any questions before buying or offerding. Thank you for taking the time to look at is offering. Happy offerding!
