A: The rod is returned to St Croix because it was either broken some how or hada factory defect (Ex. color might be off a little) St Croix voids the warrantyby scrapping the label off the rod. I then build a rod using their parts tocreate a rod that performs and feels like a new rod. The rods in most cases arein great used condition. The rods will show some wear on them since they areused rods. All rods are sold as a USED,AS IS ROD WITH NO WARRANTY. Q: Why do you have down estimated action and line weight?A: I list estimated because I am basically making a customrod out of the broken blanks from St Croix. In most cases these rods have beencut down to make a two piece rod. This is why I am just using my opinion onwhat the action and line weight would be. If the rod is in it’s original specsI will indicate that above. Q: What will the area where the label was scrapped off look like? A: In Some cases you will see parts ofthe label and the specs of the original rod. The factory takes a straight edgerazor to the label and scrapes it off. This will cause some minor gauging inthe clear coat. I will put a fresh coat of clear coat over the scrapped area toprotect your hands but the rod will not have a new label put on it. Q: Will the rod be just like a new one? A: Perform like a new rod yes in most cases. Look like one? No, please rememberthat the rod is refurbished so it will not be to the exact specifications as itwas when it was brand new. I only repair and sell rods that will perform like afishing rod should. Q: Do you allow returns? A: Yes, you have 30 days from the purchase date to return the rod to me UNUSED!You will be responsible for shipping cost both ways. I will refund you thepurchase price of the rod once I receive the rod back in the same condition itwas when I shipped it to you. All rods shipped have insurance purchased foryour protection.
