This rug came from a Vermont home. I was told that it was used when the house was first built 1840-50 and used in the
dining room. Sometime in the early 1900\'s it was moved to an upstairs room. It measure 11\' wide, with four panels of 2\' 9\", and is 10\'
in length. The color on one side is brighter than the other. There is one strip that has damage, it could be repaired, or a rug restorer could
remove the panel altogether, re-seam back together which would result in a size closer to 8\' X 10\'. Where the segments were sewn together at the ends some
unraveling of the stitching has occurred. There are couple of small brown stains and one edge is slightly frayed. Overall considering the age of this rug
it is in good condition and it is rare to find a rug so large and old. It weighs about 20 pounds. Please ask any questions that you might have.
