This is a stunning and stately piece of Robinson Ransbottom art pottery, standing 21\" tall and weighing in at just over 20 pounds. Shaped like a large pitcher, this would make a great garden urn, floor vase or umbrella stand! The base color is a dark brown, with a gorgeous heavy drip glaze in various shades of grey and pink. The drip glaze covers more than half of the piece, which is really rare! The bottom of the piece is hallmarked \"RRP Co Roseville OH USA\".
This piece is in very good to excellent condition! No chips or signs of repair. There is a hairline crack near the mouth of the pitcher that extends about 4\". This is barely visible on the outside of the piece, as the crack blends in beautifully with the texture of the glaze. There is one very tiny glaze chip on the outside at the crack, which I have shown in the photos. The crack from the inside is more visible - I have captured this in the photos as well. This hairline crack has not weakened the structure of the piece at all. The piece is dusty and needs to be cleaned, but I will leave this task to the winning buyer.
The starting offer is $79 and there is . I am charging $29.99 for shipping and full insurance via UPS Ground to any U.S. destination.
Thank you for your interest and good luck to all!
