We are very pleased to offer for sale, this early vintage authentic Rampuri folding fighting knife. This is quite a rare find in the knife world. This piece has nothing in common with the modern cheaply made reproduction knives you will find being offered. This is a beautifully crafted true authentic early rampuri knife...a real beauty and one of the highest quality fighting knives we have ever offered!It has a fine 6 1/2\" carbon steel blade with a interesting design that is unique to Rampuri knives. It has a solid brass guard; and a horn, brass, and aluminum handle. The handle has a brass lever that acts as a guard/sheath when the knife is closed, and helps to lock the blade in place when opened. This isn\'t a true locking blade knife, but with the massive spring and brass lever, the blade is kept firmly in place...nearly locking it. The blade is stamped, but some of it is too worn to read...what I can make out is \"Works India\".The blade has excellent strong snap open/closed/halfstops. Measures 11\" open and 7 1/2\" closed.
