 I have for sale a fine classic single fusee carved cuckoo clock sitting on a carve eagle bracket circa 1870 keeping good time I cant see any reason why the clock and bracket are not original to each other.The cuckoo with moving wings is working very well chirping the hour on the hour and once on the half hour, on the hour it also strikes on a spiral gong

The substantial single fusee movement is in excellent order the fusee drives the striking train, the time train is powered by a very large spring barrel. If you look at the right hand side of the movement you will see some drill or grinding marks not sure why this should be .

The case with ebonised trim also the eagle themed bracket are in excellent order without any  losses or damage, I have taken a photograph with a standard 75cl bottle of wine to give an idea of size.

 

To give an Idea of size mounted on the bracket the dimensions are,

Height 40.5 inches (103 cm)

Width 17 inches (43cm)

Depth 8.75 inches (22 cm)

 All measurements are approximate, the clock runs very well keeping good time if you do purchase this clock I am confident you will not be disappointed.
