You are offerding on a former West Germany made Telefunken Caprice 5051W radio. the radio is working good. Most of the bad capacitors including filter capacitors were replaced. All the vacuum tubes were tested & showed avarge 90% of strength on the tube tester. All those vacuum tubes are original & you could use them for Telefunken amplifiers also. Those tubes could be expensive individually.The silver colored mold on top of the left side knob is missing. In a good weather day the radio catches a lot of stations very well. I connected a stripped wire next to RF modulator coil & let the wire out at the back. If you touch the wire you would be able to catch more stations very clearly. You could connect a 12 feet wire with that wire & connect a ferrite core at the end of the other side of the 12 feet wire to have the same quality receptions. If the radio comes out to be a DOA I will refund you the money.This radio only works on 110V, 60Hz electric outlets only.The 220V outlet option had beenpermanentlyaltered when the radio came to USA I believe.The radio was running while I was taking pictures.
