FRESH OFF THE SHELF FROM A OLD HOBBY STORE SHELF> here\'s a vintage testors \"sprite special\" indy 500 racer gas powered car. it\'s in the original box. as you can see, the car is mint and never used. all the paperwork is here, instructions, decals, decal application sheet, and a flyer. the cars chrome is excellent, the white plastic body is still bright and clean. there is a bag that has the rest of the small parts in it. string and some other items I don\'t recognize. the bag is dirty. I put the decal sheets in a hardware store bag to protect them. originaly they were loose in the box. this was sealed when I found it. the store owner opened it many years ago and said he was planning to display it, but never got around to it.so it sat on a shelf in the back room sinse. the front of the box displays nicely. the back was stuck to the shelf, and when I pulled it down, some of the paper stayed stuck to the shelf. all in all this is just a beautiful car and a rare find. I don\'t know how good the decals will stick. hopefully the new owner will keep it as a display piece only. thanks for looking. Tina. (this will be shipped via priority mail for insurance purposes.
