On offer for spares or repair. \'The Companion Camera\' made by Parker & Co, late 19th century (1892 - 1897) half plate camera that is still in very good condition. The mahoganyparts are well made with good joints, no splits and showing no signs of either misuse or damage. Rear standard viewing glass in good condition. Brass fixings & hinges all complete but do show surface corrosion to the lacquerfinish. All the knobs turn and lock as designed. It is all withthe exception of the missing leather carrying handle remarkably complete.
The premium quality bellows are a deep marooncolour and in very nice supple condition and show only the lightest signs of age.
The principle reason I offer this lovely old Parker & Co camera as a \'spares or repair\' item is it lacks the lens panel, lens and needs a replacement carrying strap.Sold as a .99p start price sale as a spares or repair item.
Also included is a mahoganyplate holder.
