The Little Mermaid is a 2015 creation of Canadian West Coast artist Marlene Xenis. She isNumber 4 of an edition of only 10 pieces worldwide, and is a OOAK finished! This mermaid\'s head, delicate arms and torso are all carved from solid western maple, than hand painted. The neck, shoulders, elbows and wrists are all ball jointed. The tail fin is sculpted and cast in resin, then hand painted - this one in sea green. Her beautiful long red hair is of soft mohair, and is adorned with seed pearl strands and a tiny little starfish. She is hand signed and numbered on her lower back. She comes with a display authentic star fish which has been treated for durability.
