From an estate sale of an elderly couple that had spent 1/2 their lives in Germany and rest in Florida. I have been selling German music on CD\'s from their collection and people are very pleased. I will also be selling many reel to reel tapes that were with this unit in separate sales. Especially interesting is a set of 12 tapes all consisting of German music from the early 1960\'s. This fellow was very organized and the items I bought were very well kept in cabinets.This is a model 735 \"tape-o-matic\" tape recorder with Add+A+Track function? This allows you to record on one track, then add conversation or musical accompaniment on another track of the same tape as you listen to the first. On playback,hear both recordings simultaneously. Ideal to practice music or study a foreign language. Plays and records in 3 speeds.Check out the one picture from the color brochure which lists all important features of this unit. This is a tube style unit I believe. It came on nicely and plays very well. I tested 3-4 reels in the collection. I tested rewind/stop/play/forward and they all work fine. The pause button works to pause the tape and fast advance when held further on. The 3 speeds all work and switch properly...switch only while running. It seems to have a nice \"slow-down\" feature which when switching say from rewind to stop it does not sudden stop so you avoid the tape unwinding from the reel. The tape counter works as it should.I did not take this unit apart to look at anything inside as there seems no need. I did not test record feature or the mic but it looks in fine shape.Inside the cover is the original microphone and the original (2) small 5\" blank reels. I will also include 1 blank full reel and one empty reel of the 7\" size so you will have them.ALSO, and very neat to have, is a original Voice of Music DEMO reel to reel tape. Original bill of sale where the fellow bought it from VOM on 6/12/1964. It plays fine and cool to have with this unit.There is the original owners operating manual, the gold \"Facts\" booklet and a list of repair facilities...dated 1962 and 1963. I assume this is about the vintage of this unit.Just the machine weighs 22 lbs. per the manual specs. I will put 25 lbs. (boxed very well) into the shipping calculator from Florida zip 34608 so you pay only actual UPS ground cost.Tested as stated above but selling as is with no returns or refunds, either full or partial.
