Tree 430 milling machine

This milling machine is a mid-eighties CNC machine previously owned by AT+T. To my knowledge, all of the servos and encoders/resolvers are in good working order, but there is no guarantee. This machine did have a modern computerized controller and functioned as a three-axis CNC within the last five years. However, the unit does not come with anything but the original control system which probably does not work. The mill is for sale as a restoration project or parts. This Tree has \"box\" ways and is a very rigid and heavy duty machine. Additionally, it has a lot of travel on the Z-Axis which is a plus for deep cavity machining. One of the encoders was rebuilt about five years ago by the manufacturer at the cost of about $1200. The milling machine includes manuals (from a very similar mill) along with some miscellaneous tooling (shown in the pictures). You can see the unit about thirty miles south of Kansas City.
