TREK FUEL EX8 Mountain Bike
This is a Trek Fuel EX-8 Mountain Bike. It was purchased new in 2012 and is in very good condition. Everything works as it should. This is an excellent bike with 5 star reviews. It can be used for racing as well and the only limits it has is rider ability. The geometry is great and the suspension is plush. The suspension can also be totally locked out if you wish. The bottom line is that the Fuel EX 8 s the the ultimate singletrack trail bike, agile enough for racing, yet relaxed enough for long-distance pedaling. It is ready to take things to the next level if that is your goal.

The bike is in very good condition. Some minimal marks on the frame but not bad at all. Overall it looks terrific. View the pictures and enlarge them. They are part of the description as well. You will get real good idea of the cosmetic condition.
There is no structural damage at all to the frame. One of the shifter windows is missing (the thing that covers the gear indicator - cosmetic only). The shifter itself works great.
This is a size18.5\" Actual (Medium) - 19.5\" Virtual. It measures 18.5 inches from the center of the BB to the top of the seat collar.The effectivetop-tube measures 24\" The stand-over height is31 inches measured over the center of the top-tube.

Your inseam is the distance from the floor to your crotch. It is easy to measure and this method works for both males and females:

A) With your shoes off, stand with your back against the wall, and you feet shoulder width apart.

B) Place a large book between your legs, with its spine firmly up against your crotch.

C) Measure from the floor to the spine of the book.

D) Write down the length in inches (in) or centimeters (cm). The bike size calculators above allow you to use either form of measurement.

As a general sizing rule, when you compare your inseam to the stand-over height there should be at least 1\" of clearance and no more than 3\" for a road bike, and 2-4 inches for a mountain bike although some individuals do prefer to have 3-5 inches of clearance for off road mountain bikes for more control. The saddle is adjustable.
