For sale is this Uniden Bearcat 396T Handheld Scanner. It is in very good to excellent used condition. I will include the original charger, RS-232 serial data cable, scanner itself, and the UHF 800MHz \"rubber duck\" antenna shown in the photos, along with the belt clip.
No troubles noted with the scanner. Charger works. LCD screen has no problems. All buttons work. Speaker works. All ports work.
NOTE: This scanner has the LATEST FIRMWARE. Therefore, this scanner iscompatiblewith the \"re-banding\" that took place 6 years ago. If one has not installed the latest firmware on this scanner, one can not scan \"re-banded\" 800MHz systems. In order to use this scanner, (or any other for that matter) I highlyrecommendthe software from butel.nl. That is why in addition to the items listed above, I will be including my UNLOCK CODES for the software to program the scanner! The value of these codes are $70. I will include a ARC PRO license. I will email you this codes upon sale, so that you may set the software for this scanner (downloadable from butel.nl) up on you Windows machine.The scanner uses three AA NiMH batters (or NiCd), (not supplied).
