This is a new permanent magnet motor. The motor is 120 Volts dc with a built-in bridge rectifier to operate on 120 Volts AC. This is a custom modified to fit UNIMAT-3 /4 lathes. The on-off switch and Varible Speed Dial Control easily accessible and convenient to use. It is much safer than the Unimat switch. The motor is ready to bolt on existing UNIMAT mounting bracket. The installation takes about 15 minutes. You are able to use your own OEM pulley with this motor.

Variable speed control gives you better results and longer tool bit life. Variable speed control lets you run your lathe at its full single speed and variable speed(HIGH ,MEDIUM, LOW).
