US Model 1917 Bayonet scabbard 2nd type madefor Remington and Winchester Bayonets. This scabbard is in excellent condition with almost all of the original green finish on the leather which is still in great condition, still very sturdy and holds its shape well.On the back as the pictures show it is marked E.J.B.onone side of the back seam and G.K. on the other side. Metal throat and tip are marked GF inside an oval. Both throat and tip are tightly stapled on.These leather scabbard are hard to find in good condition nowand will become even harder in the future as they all turn 100 years old.
