VarioSonic 2 is an “audio only” vario intended to be mounted into your helmet. It has been especially designed for the minimalist pilots who want to enjoy free flight with the minimum of technology and for pilots that want a reliable back-up instrument for cross country and competition flying.

The VarioSonic can be mounted into helmet. Because of the small dimensions and the low weight of the VarioSonic it is possible to mount the vario in many other positions, e.g. to your flying suit, or the shoulder straps of your harness, for instance experiment to find the optimal mounting position!

The VarioSonic is switched on with the main switch (located on the board) or with the additional switch. The additional switch can be mounted as you well.

The volume can be adjusted with a small screwdriver by turning the potentiometer. The potentiometer is located on the board.

Settings are made by the button pressing and confirmed by the acoustic signal (according to the setting menu).
In operating mode, the button is not used, so accidental presses can not change settings.

All adjustments are kept in the memory, therefore you should not carry out them again, for the next use.

VarioSonic has been tested by hang gliding and paragliding pilots on this season. Resume – responsive and accurate lift and sink audio, good volume, and nice price.
