Here is a nice Vega Triumphal model Bb Cornet made by the Vega Company in Boston Massachusetts probably in the 1950s. Serial number 86808. 16.5\" long and a 4.75\" bell. Some lacquer loss especially on the bottom part of the tuning slide tube where it was re-soldered on to the brace (see photo). Some minor dings and dents but overall not bad. The tuning slide and third valve slide work fine but the other two are stuck. The valves work fine and this cornet has a nice sound. It includes a case, mouthpiece marked \"Germany\", and a music lyre. One bottom valve cap is a replacement.The Triumphal and Power model cornets and trumpets were the top quality brass that Vega made.
