2003 Vermeer Chipper BC1000 XL. The unit has 2861 hrs. I am the second owner. It was re-conditioned with a new drum, knives, and all new electric brakes by the Vermeer dealer and the engine was completely serviced with a new belt when I purchased it at 2846 hrs. I bought it only to do clean up on my farm and now I am finished with it. It has an 85hp Cummins Turbo Diesel...plenty of power. It has a smart feed system on it that puts the feed wheel in hold in case the engine RPM\'s drop due to big diameter wood. Unit performs flawlessly, brakes are smooth. All lights and instruments work. Would make a really nice outfit for someone. Ikeep it under roof and it was kept under roof before me. Tires are excellent.
