Very old antique 18th century full size violin for restoration labelled:
Johann Christopff LeidolffLauten und Geigenmacherin Wien 1757 .
Date does look hard to read but looks like 1757. No post cracks in back the LONG line on back IS NOT A CRACK! Anyway comes in restorable condition with a quote dated 1988 from a dutch violin restorer stating needs 700 guilders spending on it (how much??) so be warned it needs spending on. Back measures 14 1/16 inches. 2 bows need looking at, new hair etc.
