This is a 1951 Vibroplex Original standard bug and case. It has been outfitted with a dot tamer. A dot tamer, or stabilizer, is positioned to provide some pre-tension on the dot spring contact to make the dots sent less scratchy. Google it. It has two weights but still races along at it\'s lowest speed. The case is in great shape, carrying handle is all there and this box has the key. An old owner has the wisdom to tie the key to the box, and I was smart enough to leave it alone. The serial is 174208. The red paint on the lightning bug image on the serial tag remains.
