Beautiful Victorian/Edwardian sterling silver repousse etui or needle case. The style of the case dates it to the late Victorian/Edwardian era. There are repousse flowers on both the top and bottom pieces on both sides. The front and back of the case are identical and photos of both sides are shown.
The case is hallmarked 925 with a diamond maker\'s mark under the 925 mark. I am not familiar with the diamond hallmark but perhaps someone who collects antique sewing items or sterling silver may know. I suspect the case was part of an entire sewing set at one time. It is a beautiful etui.
It measures 2.75" in length and condition is very good to excellent with no flaws to note. A beautiful antique collectible.
