Here is a vintage Hallicrafters S-38 Shortwave Radio. This radio was produced post-war and was a very popular radio in its\' time. This radio is still a favorite among radio enthusiasts and it is fairly easy to work on to fix.
This radio is being sold for parts/not working, but it shouldn\'t need much to get it working properly again. The cabinet is in fairly good shape and should clean up well. The cabinet is missing the cardboard backing that it once had. The inside of the radio has 6 tubes that may or may not need to be replaced (the tubes needed are available at reasonable prices on from other sellers). We did not test this radio because of the condition of the power cord. The power cord on this has brittle insulation and will definitely need to be replaced. Please review the photos provided for this listing to get an idea of the condition of this radio.
