Up for sale is a Vintage 1940\'s Powder Puff Metal Music Box - RARE Scene Satyr & Nymph Enamel Top

This scene of a Satyr surrounded by Nymphs is very rare and desirable. There arefiveNymphs surrounding the Goat Man, with one of them pouring him a cup of wine. The Nymph on the left is also holding a wine cup, with the one in front of him playing a flute. The other two seem to adore him and loving just being around him. There are two additional Nymphs in the lake to the right waving at them. In Greek mythology Satyrs were a friend of Pan, and loved pursuing and dancing with Nymphs. This piece is approximately 5\" in diameter and 4 1/4\" tall. It has three brass colored legs which are all sturdy and secure. The music plays once the lid is removed, and stops when replaced. The key wind up on the bottom functions as intended. The bottom is stamped: U.S. PATENT 2,??9,804. This comes with a puff and a small facial pad.
