Offered for your consideration is this classic Sunbeam toaster in beautiful condition and fine working order. This push-down model T-10B-1 was Made in USA probably in the 1960\'s. The \'Lighter-darker\' setting has been adjusted and works properly. It has been cleaned & polished and chrome is in beautiful almost-mirror-like condition with very little scratching. There is a slight indentation to top but not very noticable-see photo # 6. Reflections in some photos are from glare. Bakelike base & handles are also very clean with no cracks or damage. Inside shows a litle typical & expected toasting residue and bottom crumb tray is cleaner than usual. Hi-temp cord still in safe condition. Bread opening is about 5 1/8\" and this is not suitable for large modern bagels.
There is a clicking sound about 15 seconds before toasting cycle ends and toast pops-up. I think this is by design but not sure.Nice example of this popular model and will make a neat, useful addition to your retro small appliance collection and décor!
This Sunbeam is but one example of the superior craftsmanship, design, and quality materials that were once standard fare for MADE IN USA products, but (sadly) rarely seen in today\'s Made in China/Mexico marketplace!
