You are looking at avery interesting microphone. This is a Vietnam era (1970\'s) M-43U specifically designed and sold to the U.S military for broadcasting / communications purposes. Included in this sale is a 6 foot cable.

The M-43U has been thoroughly cleaned and tested. The signal appears to be High Z by the sound alone and the signal strength is incredibly strong. It sounds like new. The olive drab green paint is original but shows a bit of wear mostly on the top by the front grill where a little has flaked off as seen in the pics. Otherwise the mic looks pretty nice. The screen is free of any dents and the original University sound label is still present and legible.

The mic has a 45 degree range of tilt and has a female XLR attachment. This could possibly make a great harp mic due to it\'s tone and high Z setting.

A nice 6 foot is included and has a 1/4 inch connector / adapter on the end. The cable is soft, pliable and free of any damage. Your ready for any live event.A very rare and cool collectors piece to display or use.
