Vintage 1970s Standel Harptone Jumbo Acoustic Guitar Rare Holy Grail

I\'m really picky about acoustic guitars. I\'ve played Martin, Gibson, Fender and everything in between. For whatever reason this a particular Standel Harptone acoustic guitar is probably one of the sweetest richest guitars i\'ve ever played. There is a reason why David Bowie played these in the 1970s-80s! They just sound huge and ultra clear warm tone. I really don\'t even want to sell it but alas i have massive amounts of bills to pay right now so everything must go to pay that.That said this Standel is in excellenceshape. Its intonationis perfect, its tone lush and creamy. Think Space Oddity or the acoustic sound on a Rolling Stones song like Wild Horses. Its really that good. This guitar is in excellent shape, some normal finish checking on the back and front, pretty normal for a guitar this old. I always found these be very beautiful looking and playing jumbo guitars. Excellent design and original looking especially with that cool head stock look! They are well made guitars as well. Solid woods very much like a Martin or Gibsonquality. Sounds thick and creamy! Secret weapon here! Guitar is very clean for its age. All relatively light wear and tear. The frets are in excellent condition and everything works. Overall this guitar is in great shape. The guitar has minor superficial dings, scratches, wear and tear around various parts of the guitar. Typical of a guitar of this age. As with any guitar that’s been sitting in storage it going to need new strings and set up. Please consider this when offerding on my items.
