Vintage 8 Piece Kitchen Canister Set Lids hyalyn USA 60\'s Strawberry Pattern

\"hyalyn porcelain company\" (no capital letters is intentional--that wastheir trademark)made high quality porcelain and pottery from 1943 to 1973 in Hickory, NorthCarolina. Due to the highquality of the glaze,hyalyn pieces are much less susceptible to chipping andwear, which accounts for the fine condition of these pieces. This sale includes 4 canisters, 2 large and 2 smaller ones, with 4 hardwood lids and a strawberry, flower and vinepattern. The color is cream with red strawberries with some yellow at the tips and white \"seed\" highlights, white 5 petal flowers with a yellow center, and green vines and leaves, with yellow highlights. Each hardwood lid has a rubber gasket, which allows them to fit tightly. The wood lid and gasket also prevents damage to the rims of the canisters in use.

The larger canisters measure 7-7/8\" tall with the lid and are 5-1/2\" in diameter at the base. They have the hyalyn name on the bottom and the number \"925\".

The smaller canisters measure 6-1/8\" tall with the lid and are 5-1/2\" in diameter at the base. They have the hyalyn name on the bottom and the number \"924\".

Condition: Very good. These are high quality canisters. No chips, cracks, or breaks. There may be an occasional very small mfg defect along the bottom rims. Graphics are very bright and in good shape. The lids fit tightly and the gaskets are in good shape. The lid finishes are worn, giving these canisters a very nice shabby chic appearance. If you don\'t like that look, they wouldbe very easy to re-do. One lid has a small nick on the edge that appears to be from the factory, as it has stain in it. See last photo.
