This is a vintage ANRI wood carving of a country woman who seems to be hiding in a barrel. Obviously the barrel is empty so that perhaps her attached bottle opener will come in handy, if bottled reinforcements arrive. From the top of the woman to the bottom of the barrel, measures 4 inches in height. While the barrel has some tiny paint specs, overall the shape of the barrel and of the woman is excellent. There is some slight tarnish on the opener, itself. Similar barrel people can be seen on page 186 of\"anri Woodcarvings\" by Philly Rains & Donald Bull.
