circa early 1930\'s.This sale is for adelightfulvintage bakelite dial&tube valve radio made byPhilco of a America.In aclassicveneer banded cinema style woodencase withlarge gold cloth front speaker grill.It hasthree large frontbakelite knob, one for wave band select, one for on/off/volumewith afine tuning ring,the other for tone.Originallarge Bakelitetuningdialwith back light half arched scalewithLong Wave(LW) &Short Wave (SW) reception. Cream Art Deco \'Philco\' logo to the dials centre. Mains leadhas beencut off & I have no wayof testing this radio\'s function so it is sold for display only or repair. Itwill needseriously checked over by an expert before attempting to plugging intoany mains supply. This radios style& design is typical of it\'s period& dates firmly to the early 1930\'s(I have listed three vintage radios this week)Maker
