Elegant Chinese chess board with elaborately hand carved wood case with brass hinges and fixtures and 1.5\" square tiles on the chess board. Each of the white squares is beautifully etched and colored with a traditional Chinese scene. Overall dimensions are 15 1/2\" x 15 1/2\" x 2\". The king is 2.5\" tall. Drawers underneath the chessboard can contain the playing pieces when not in use.
The board folds in half for convenient storage or transportation.While this is a used item it is in wonderful condition and neither the board, case nor playing pieces show any significant signs of wear.
